The LOS OLIVOS HOTEL is a lovely Andalusian house built in true local style. It welcomes guests with its whitewashed walls, its yellow roof tiles, its wrought iron railings on the windows, its arched balconies, the many different plant pots containing geraniums on its sills and its indoors, full of details.The LOS OLIVES HOTEL has a 3 star rating and is located right in Arcos de la Frontera town centre in the province of Cadiz. It is an old, typically Andalusian-style house that was built in 1912 and adapted to become a hotel in 1986. It was last refurbished in 2002. The hotel sleeps a total of 37 people.Built in true local style, it has whitewashed walls, wrought iron railings on the windows, ochre-coloured roof tiles and a pretty central courtyard full of plant pots and decorated with chairs and coffee tables. Guests are served under palm trees and there is a lovely bar from where a stone well can be seen. The hotel is in one of the most central streets of the city, on the main parallel and only a few minutes' walk from its historic centre, declared a national historic/artistic monument in 1962. ROOMS The cosy rooms at LOS OLIVOS HOTEL also have a sunny atmosphere, combining sofas, armchairs, jugs full of flowers, headboards, bedspreads, curtains and rugs in different designs. The front 2 also have balconies with views over crop fields and the olive groves that give the hotel its name.The rooms are distributed around the large central courtyard and some have wonderful views of the Guadalete River basin.Of the 19 rooms, 2 are single and 17 double, all fully equipped with air conditioning, central heating, television, direct line telephone, access free Wi-Fi, mini bar and full ensuite bathroom with hairdryer.The LOS OLIVOS HOTEL is only a few minutes from the heart of the historic/artistic site of Arcos de la Frontera, declared of national interest in 1962. This is a wonderful opportunity to stroll through its streets and bring the past back to life, at least for a day.Its most notable monuments well worth a visit include: The San Juan de Dios Hospital, the Conde del Águila Palace, the Basilica of Santa María, the Convent of La Encarnación, the Church of San Pedro and the Chapel of La Misericordia
